Dr. Steve Giannoutsos

Dr. Steve Giannoutsos (Dr.G) is an orthodontic specialist, committed to providing advanced and comprehensive orthodontic treatment for patients. Patients in his care receive personal attention, support and professional service. They benefit from the most comfortable and effective dental care that would give them the beautiful and healthy smile they deserve.

After receiving his degree in Biology with high honors from St. John's University in Jamaica, Queens, Dr. G completed his dental training at NYU and earned the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.

Upon graduation he was inducted into OKU (Omicron Kappa Upsilon), the National Dental Honor Society. He was fortunate enough to be accepted into NYU's highly competitive orthodontic residency program directly out of dental school. During his residency, he served as president and chief resident of his orthodontic class.

Dr Steve completed the craniofacial orthodontic fellowship program at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU's Langone Medical Center and now holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery (Plastic Surgery).

Dr. Seth Newman

Dr. Seth Newman is a board-certified specialist in orthodontics. He is a graduate of Binghamton University where he earned his Bachelors degree in Environmental Health. Dr. Newman received his dental training from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated in the top of his class, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He received multiple honors and awards, including the distinction of being inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) the National Dental Honor society.

Dr. Newman furthered his education at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He then continued his post-graduate education in orthodontics at the New York University College of Dentistry. While at NYU, Dr. Newman was a clinical instructor of the Invisalign® appliance and carried out extensive research on the quality of life of patients undergoing orthodontic treatment. He not only received awards for this work but also has presented it at national meetings.

Dr. Newman was recently appointed a clinical attending at LIJ, of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. He regularly attends continuing education lectures and seminars to stay current with the most modern clinical and diagnostic orthodontic techniques.
